Argente Brun

The Argente Brun is rich chocolate colored rabbit with a frosted or silvered outer coat. They are an excellent choice for an all purpose (meat and fur) rabbit breed. They are characterized by their fast growth and spectacular coat, both in color and quality. They are gentle in nature, making good pets if handled. They are great mothers, averaging 7-10 kits per litter. Kits generally reach 4.5 - 5lbs by 10-12 weeks, adults reach 9-11lbs. This rare gem of a breed is gaining popularity in both the show and production arena.
